Gulfstream Aerospace has unveiled its latest business jet developments to the European market, with the Gulfstream G300 and G400 making their public debut at the company’s exclusive Discover the Difference event in Farnborough.

The showcase featured a full-scale mock-up of the new super-midsize G300 alongside one of the three G400 flight-test aircraft currently participating in the certification programme. The event provided customers and industry stakeholders with an up-close look at the performance, technology and cabin innovations that define Gulfstream’s next-generation fleet.

According to Gulfstream President Mark Burns, interest in the company’s latest aircraft continues to grow across Europe, where operators increasingly seek aircraft capable of combining long-range performance with efficiency and passenger comfort. “The G300 and G400 deliver exceptional performance, efficiency and cabin innovation that are ideally suited to operators in the region,” Burns said during the event.

Launched in September 2025, the Gulfstream G300 represents the newest addition to the manufacturer’s product line. The aircraft entered flight testing less than three months after its announcement, highlighting Gulfstream’s accelerated development programme.

Designed for operators seeking maximum capability in the super-midsize category, the G300 offers a range of 3,600 nautical miles (6,667 km) at Mach 0.80, or 3,000 nautical miles (5,556 km) at Mach 0.84. The aircraft combines Gulfstream’s signature swept-wing design with Honeywell HTF7250G engines to deliver strong fuel efficiency and impressive runway performance.

One of the aircraft’s standout features is its cabin size. Gulfstream says the G300 offers the longest cabin in its class, accommodating up to ten passengers across two distinct living areas. The aircraft’s short-field capabilities and access to challenging airports further enhance its appeal to corporate and charter operators.

Sharing the spotlight was the Gulfstream G400, an aircraft positioned to redefine expectations in the large-cabin business jet segment. The flight-test aircraft arrived in Farnborough after completing a record-setting flight from Washington, D.C., to the United Kingdom. Covering the 3,250-nautical-mile (6,019 km) route in just six hours and twelve minutes, the aircraft achieved an average speed of Mach 0.87 while operating on sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).

Powered by Pratt & Whitney PW812GA engines and benefiting from Gulfstream’s advanced aerodynamic wing design, the G400 offers a combination of range, speed and operating efficiency that places it among the most capable aircraft in its class. Reduced fuel consumption, lower emissions and quieter operation are key elements of the aircraft’s design philosophy. Inside the cabin, operators can select from three different floor plans, accommodating nine, eleven or twelve passengers depending on mission requirements.

Both aircraft incorporate Gulfstream’s latest cabin technologies aimed at enhancing passenger wellbeing during long flights. Features include 100% fresh air that is never recirculated, advanced plasma-ionisation air purification systems, low cabin altitudes and abundant natural light provided by Gulfstream’s distinctive Panoramic Oval Windows. These developments reflect broader trends within the business aviation sector, where passenger wellness, sustainability and operational efficiency are becoming increasingly important purchasing factors.

The European debut of the G300 and G400 underscores Gulfstream’s commitment to one of the world’s most significant business aviation markets. With demand for modern, fuel-efficient aircraft continuing to grow among corporate flight departments, charter operators and private owners, the manufacturer is positioning its newest models to capture a significant share of future fleet replacement and expansion programmes.

With more than 3,500 Gulfstream aircraft currently in service worldwide, the Savannah-based manufacturer continues to invest heavily in next-generation aircraft development. The G300 and G400 join a growing portfolio that includes the G500, G600, G700 and flagship ultra-long-range G800, providing operators with a comprehensive range of mission-specific solutions.
