Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. has announced the delivery of its 200th Gulfstream G600, marking a production milestone for the large-cabin business jet. The aircraft was completed at the company’s St. Louis outfitting facility and delivered to a customer based in North America.

Since entering service, the G600 fleet has accumulated more than 197,000 flight hours and recorded over 87,000 landings. These figures indicate the aircraft’s growing presence in the global business aviation fleet, where it is used across a range of missions, including corporate transport and private operations.

The aircraft has also logged a number of city-pair speed records. According to Gulfstream, the G600 has achieved 95 such records to date. One recent example cited by the manufacturer involved a flight from Aspen, Colorado, to London City Airport in the United Kingdom. The aircraft completed the journey in 7 hours and 42 minutes at an average speed of Mach 0.91, surpassing a previous record on that route.

The G600’s performance characteristics place it within the long-range segment of the business jet market. It is capable of flying up to 6,600 nautical miles (12,223 km) at Mach 0.85, or 5,600 nautical miles (10,371 km) at Mach 0.90, with a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.925. These specifications allow for non-stop travel between a range of intercontinental city pairs.

In early 2026, the G600 and the smaller G500 received steep-approach certification from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). This certification allows both aircraft types to operate into airports with demanding approach profiles, including London City Airport. Such approvals expand the number of destinations accessible to operators, particularly those located close to major urban centres.

The G600 cabin can be configured with up to four separate living areas and can accommodate up to 19 passengers, depending on the selected layout. Interior features include large windows, a pressurisation system designed to maintain a lower cabin altitude, and noise-reduction measures aimed at improving passenger comfort during longer flights. The aircraft has also received industry recognition for its cabin design and seating configurations.

The flight deck is based on Gulfstream’s Symmetry Flight Deck design, which incorporates active control sidesticks and touchscreen interfaces. These systems are intended to support flight crew operations by streamlining access to aircraft systems and flight information.

The 200th delivery comes at a time when demand for long-range business jets remains steady. Aircraft in this category are typically selected for their ability to connect distant city pairs directly, reducing travel time and limiting the need for intermediate stops. This capability continues to be a key factor for operators in both corporate and private sectors.

Gulfstream’s broader product line includes several aircraft in adjacent market segments, such as the G500, G700 and G800. These models share design elements and technologies with the G600, reflecting a common approach to performance and cabin development across the manufacturer’s portfolio.

As the G600 fleet continues to expand, its operational data and service record are expected to contribute to ongoing refinements in both aircraft performance and customer support. The programme’s progression to 200 deliveries represents a measurable point in its lifecycle, reflecting both production output and fleet adoption since its introduction.
