Gulfstream Introduces the All-New Gulfstream G300

Gulfstream Aerospace has unveiled the Gulfstream G300, a next-generation super-midsize business jet designed to succeed the G280. This clean-sheet aircraft combines advanced performance capabilities with luxurious comfort, setting new standards in its class.

The G300 boasts a sleek, aerodynamic design that includes Gulfstream’s clean wing, swept winglets, and high-thrust Honeywell engines. These design elements contribute to improved fuel efficiency and reduced environmental impact, aligning with Gulfstream's commitment to sustainability.

Equipped with twin Honeywell HTF7250G engines, each providing 7,624 pounds of thrust, the G300 achieves impressive performance metrics. It can reach a maximum speed of Mach 0.85 and has a maximum operating altitude of 45,000 feet. The aircraft's takeoff distance at maximum takeoff weight is approximately 4,780 feet, enabling access to a wide range of airports.

The G300 features the longest cabin in its class, measuring 10.36 meters in length. The cabin is illuminated by ten Gulfstream Panoramic Oval Windows, providing abundant natural light and enhancing the sense of space. With a cabin height of 1.85 meters and a width of 2.11 meters, the G300 offers a comfortable environment for passengers.

Designed to accommodate up to 10 passengers, the G300 offers flexible seating arrangements to suit various needs. The cabin can be configured with divans, individual seats, and tables, allowing for both relaxation and productivity during flights. Additionally, the aircraft's interior is equipped with a plasma ionisation purification system, ensuring clean and fresh cabin air.

The G300 is equipped with Gulfstream's new Harmony Flight Deck, featuring advanced avionics and six touchscreens. This system includes synthetic vision, head-up displays, Phase-of-Flight intelligence, and the Predictive Landing Performance System, enhancing situational awareness and pilot efficiency. The flight deck is designed to provide a similar experience to larger Gulfstream aircraft, facilitating smooth transitions for pilots.

Gulfstream has integrated several features into the G300 to minimise its environmental footprint. The aircraft's aerodynamic design reduces drag and improves fuel efficiency, while the high-thrust engines meet stringent noise and emission standards. Additionally, the G300's advanced avionics contribute to more efficient flight planning and operations, further enhancing its sustainability profile.

The G300 is positioned to compete in the super-midsize jet market, offering a blend of performance, comfort, and efficiency. With a maximum range of 6,667 kilometres (3,600 nautical miles) at Mach 0.80, it is capable of transcontinental flights, making it suitable for a wide range of business and personal travel needs. The aircraft is currently undergoing final testing, with deliveries expected to commence in the near future.
