Robinson Helicopter Company (RHC) has introduced its innovative Trade-In Programme, specifically designed for current owners of Robinson helicopters. This programme has been carefully crafted to facilitate a seamless transition to a new aircraft, making the upgrade process both simpler and more financially accessible for customers seeking to enhance their flying experience.

Under this Trade-In Programme, current owners of various Robinson models, including the R22 Beta II, R44 Cadet, R44 Raven I, R44 Raven II, and R66, can take advantage of a structured process that allows them to trade in their existing helicopters. By partnering with their local authorised Robinson dealer, customers can receive a competitive credit towards the purchase of a brand-new Robinson helicopter. This initiative not only provides an attractive financial incentive but also facilitates a seamless transition for pilots and operators who are eager to experience the latest advancements in helicopter technology and performance.

The Trade-In Programme is particularly beneficial for those who may have been hesitant to upgrade due to concerns about the complexity of the trade-in process or the financial implications of acquiring a new aircraft. With RHC's dedicated support, customers can expect a straightforward evaluation of their current helicopter's value, which will be factored into the overall cost of the new purchase. This approach not only alleviates the burden of selling a used helicopter privately but also ensures that customers can quickly and efficiently move into a newer model that meets their evolving needs and preferences.

Moreover, the new helicopters offered under this program come with enhanced features, improved performance metrics, and the latest safety enhancements that RHC has integrated into its designs. By opting for a new Robinson helicopter, owners can benefit from the latest in aviation technology, ensuring that they enjoy a superior flying experience.

This Trade-In Programme reflects Robinson Helicopter Company's commitment to supporting its customers throughout their journey in aviation, providing them with opportunities to upgrade and enjoy the latest innovations while maintaining the value of their existing aircraft. As the aviation industry continues to evolve, RHC remains dedicated to offering solutions that cater to the needs of helicopter owners, making the dream of owning a new Robinson helicopter more attainable than ever before.

The programme will provide Robinson helicopter owners with a streamlined path to access the latest advancements for their aircraft, including safety features, technological upgrades, and performance upgrades. As an alternative to overhauling existing aircraft, the program also allows current owners to simplify their transition to a newer model right off the production line.

“The new trade-in programme underscores Robinson Helicopter’s commitment to prioritizing safety and reliability across its products, making it easier than ever for owners to step into a new aircraft, complete with modern features like impact-resistant windshields and advanced Garmin avionics, or even secure a deposit for our upcoming R66 NxG or R88 models,” said David Smith, president and CEO at Robinson Helicopter Company.

To be eligible for the program, owners must submit detailed photographs of the aircraft along with logbooks for evaluation. Once submitted, Robinson Helicopter will evaluate the aircraft's condition and airworthiness and will provide the dealer with a written trade-in value offer within 14 business days. If the owner accepts the offer, both the owner and the dealer must coordinate the delivery of the aircraft to Robinson Helicopter in Torrance, CA. Upon arrival, a visual inspection will be performed, and if the aircraft is verified to be in airworthy condition, a credit will be issued. The aircraft owner will then have 90 days to work with the dealer and Robinson to order a new aircraft. This will, unfortunately, make it extremely difficult for operators outside the USA to take advantage of this offer.
