Textron Aviation has introduced an enhanced Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) service option for Cessna Citation business jets and the Cessna SkyCourier that are equipped with the Aircraft Recording System (AReS). Utilising Textron Aviation's proprietary LinxUs data reporting ecosystem, customers now have the option to transmit their flight data via General Electric (GE) Aerospace’s C-FOQA service.

“At Textron Aviation, we are committed to designing and delivering the best aviation experience for our customers, which means we are always looking for ways to enhance the aircraft ownership experience,” said Brian Rohloff, senior vice president, Customer Support. “Adding GE Aerospace as a Flight Operational Quality Assurance (FOQA) provider offers Cessna owners even more flexibility to select a service provider that best fits their needs, providing them with the best possible flight data monitoring.”

The company's groundbreaking LinxUs FDM Program provides four customer-selected providers: GE Aerospace’s C-FOQA service, Acron Aviation’s Flight Data Connect service, ForeFlight’s Flight Data Analysis, or Safran Electronics & Defence’s Cassiopée Flight Data Monitoring service. This program facilitates the wireless transfer of data without the need for additional equipment, ensuring a straightforward and seamless process.

LinxUs FDM enhances the LinxUs brand by offering customers a comprehensive suite of real-time solutions. Through a fault isolation system, the program continuously monitors aircraft systems, enabling operators to proactively identify opportunities to optimise operational procedures for enhanced performance. In the event of an in-flight incident, customers receive real-time actionable insights, allowing Textron Aviation service professionals to strategically position the necessary resources for a swift response.
