Gulfstream Aerospace has recently announced the delivery of the 300th Gulfstream G280 aircraft to a customer. This significant milestone was achieved at Gulfstream's facility in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas, where the aircraft was equipped and prepared for delivery.

As of May, the operational G280 fleet has accumulated over 575,000 flight hours and completed nearly 358,000 landings. The aircraft boasts a dispatch reliability rate of 99.88%, as reported by the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA).

“Achieving this delivery milestone reinforces the continued strong demand for the G280,” said Mark Burns, president, Gulfstream. “Known for its unique combination of speed, performance and cabin flexibility, the G280 remains top of the super-midsize class and continues to set the industry standard.”

The G280 has established 87 city-pair speed records and boasts a range of 3,600 nautical miles at its long-range cruise speed of Mach 0.80. The aircraft is equipped with twin Honeywell HTF7250G engines, each delivering 7,624 pounds of takeoff thrust. Its demonstrated steep-approach capabilities provide access to some of the world’s most challenging airports, enabling customers to land closer to their final destinations.

Gulfstream remains committed to investing in the G280 by developing new features that enhance the passenger experience, improve safety, and streamline pilot workload. Additionally, the G280 is certified to meet the Federal Aviation Administration's rigorous Stage 5 noise standards.

The G280 boasts a meticulously designed cabin with various floorplan configurations, accommodating up to 10 passengers and featuring a four-place conference table. It is equipped with Gulfstream’s proprietary cabin management and high-definition entertainment systems, 19 Gulfstream Large Oval Windows, and provides access to baggage at high altitudes. Additionally, it offers multiple connectivity options, including a high-speed Ka-band satellite system.
