Registration is now open for Embraer Social Tech Careers, a complimentary career advancement program in technology provided by aviation giant Embraer. This initiative is designed to motivate more women and individuals with disabilities to join this sector, making it exclusive to these groups. Offering 70 spots, the course emphasizes data analysis and the straightforward development of applications and other computer systems through beginner-friendly programming techniques.

"The market is increasingly seeking more skilled individuals in the technology field, and more professionals are interested in working with data science. With Social Tech, we hope to contribute to increasing the pool of these professionals and meet the growing demand from companies," says Embraer's Vice President of People, ESG, and Corporate Communications, Andreza Alberto. "At the same time, the course encourages diversity in the technology field, so that people from different backgrounds and life experiences can expand their skills in this highly relevant area today."

In collaboration with the edtech SoulCode, Social Tech Careers meets the public's demand for short courses designed for individuals with limited time or an urgent need to enter the tech industry. During the program, participants are trained to use low-code platforms, learn programming languages such as Python, and develop dashboards in Power BI, among other skills.

The classes are scheduled from March to June 2025 and will be conducted online. They will be live-streamed from Monday to Thursday, between 7 PM and 10 PM. Out of the total scholarships offered, 60 will be available to the general public, while the remaining 10 will be reserved for Embraer employees. To apply for one of these scholarships, registration must be completed by March 9 via the link https://soulcode.com/embraer-social-tech-careers. The selection process involves tests on logic and basic computing, a brief personal introduction video, and a group dynamic.

Established in 2021, Social Tech Careers has chosen more than 1,600 professionals across four editions focused on underrepresented groups, including women, people with disabilities, and Black/Brown individuals. After finishing the training, students join the Embraer Group's talent pool, bridging the gap to new job opportunities.
