The 55th International Paris Air Show commenced with an opening ceremony at the Paris Le Bourget Exhibition Centre on June 16th, 2025. During the event, the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. (COMAC) showcased mockups of the C909, C919, and C929 baseline aircraft, along with derivatives of the C909 and C919 models. Additionally, COMAC entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for collaboration on the C929 Program with SAFRAN and Crane Aerospace & Electronics.

The C909 aircraft is designed to accommodate 78 to 97 passengers and offers a range of 2,225 to 3,700 kilometres. It demonstrates exceptional take-off and landing capabilities, as well as strong crosswind resistance, particularly in airports with short and narrow runways under high temperature and plateau conditions.

The C919 aircraft, seating between 158 and 192 passengers, boasts a range of 4,075 to 5,555 kilometres. It features an advanced aerodynamic design, propulsion system, and materials, resulting in reduced carbon emissions and enhanced fuel efficiency. This aircraft meets the diverse operational needs of airlines across various routes.

The C929 aircraft, currently in the design phase, is projected to have a range of approximately 12,000 kilometres and a baseline seating capacity of 280 passengers.

COMAC is dedicated to maintaining a customer-centric approach, offering comprehensive support and services to ensure the smooth operation of aircraft in transit. To date, COMAC has delivered a total of 20 C919 aircraft and 165 C909 aircraft. Since the beginning of this year, the company has secured two new customers for the C909 aircraft: Lao Airlines and Vietjet Air. Presently, three Southeast Asian airlines, including TransNusa, operate C909 aircraft on 15 routes across 18 cities.

COMAC is committed to contributing to the sustainable development of the global aviation industry by focusing on the development of "green aircraft." Currently, both the C909 and C919 aircraft are equipped to conduct commercial operations utilising Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) with a blending ratio of up to 50%. This capability aligns with customers' requirements for environmentally friendly, low-carbon operations.

COMAC is committed to the principles of openness and collaboration, and aims to establish closer and more profound partnerships with global customers and partners. Our goal is to jointly promote the thriving development of the civil aviation transportation industry and better meet the needs of air travellers for exceptional journeys.
