Rostec's United Aircraft Corporation has manufactured and delivered a new batch of Su-34 fighter-bombers to the Russian Ministry of Defence in accordance with a State Defence Order.

"The Su-34 has proven itself to be a reliable and effective aircraft. Its performance has been repeatedly confirmed in real combat conditions. This frontline bomber is capable of engaging ground, sea, and air targets, operating in the most challenging enemy countermeasures. Pilots highly value its manoeuvrability, survivability, and other qualities. Our aircraft manufacturing plants have significantly increased production of these aircraft and are steadily delivering them to the troops," noted a representative of the Rostec State Corporation.

The fighter-bombers have completed a series of required ground and flight factory tests and have been handed over to the customer.

"As part of the implementation of the targets set by the Russian Minister of Defence for the delivery of weapons and equipment to the troops, the Aerospace Forces crews accepted the Su-34 aircraft. This aircraft performs multi-role missions at any time, day or night, in any weather conditions, using a variety of weapons. The crew feels confident and at ease," noted a Su-34 pilot of the Russian Aerospace Forces.

"UAC enterprises are consistently maintaining a high rate of military equipment production, fulfilling their obligations to the Russian Aerospace Forces on time. This month marks a record for the number of aircraft delivered. Our employees at the plants, understanding the importance of supplying aircraft to the military, not only ensure the required output but also continuously improve production processes to ensure high aircraft production volumes, both for the Russian Ministry of Defence and for other production programs," said Vadim Badekha, UAC CEO.

The Su-34 fighter-bomber is engineered to target both ground (surface) and aerial threats, including infrastructure safeguarded by air defence systems, situated at considerable distances from its base airfield. Additionally, the aircraft is capable of conducting aerial reconnaissance missions.
