Lockheed Martin has been granted a $720 million contract by the U.S. Army for the production of Joint Air-to-Ground Missiles (JAGM) and HELLFIRE missiles. This represents the fourth and final follow-on award under the existing multi-year contract. The contract will deliver essential procurement and production support to the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, and international clients, thereby reinforcing Lockheed Martin's status as a prominent provider of multi-domain missile systems.

Under this contract, Lockheed Martin is tasked with delivering JAGM and HELLFIRE missiles to fulfil the urgent operational requirements of the Army, Navy, and international partners. The contract encompasses significant Foreign Military Sales (FMS), including the provision of 160 JAGMs for the United Kingdom. Additionally, the agreement includes HELLFIRE FMS orders for key NATO allies such as Poland, Spain, the Czech Republic, and Italy. Furthermore, the contract extends to a new HELLFIRE international customer, Canada.

“This contract is a significant milestone in our ongoing partnership with the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy and our international allies, and we're proud to continue playing a vital role in their defence strategies," said Casey Walsh, program management director of Multi-Domain Missile Systems at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control. "As we continue to evolve our deterrence capabilities, we remain committed to supporting the military's critical missions and helping to protect those who serve, both at home and abroad.”

This contract's significance goes beyond the production of JAGM and HELLFIRE, highlighting the robust partnerships Lockheed Martin maintains with the Army, Navy, and international allies. For instance, the Poland HELLFIRE Foreign Military Sales (FMS) order, included in this contract, aligns with the recent U.S. government FMS agreement for AH-64E Apache attack helicopters intended for the Polish Air Force. As the global security landscape evolves, Lockheed Martin is dedicated to providing innovative solutions that address the shifting requirements of its customers, and this contract represents a substantial advancement in that commitment.

The JAGM and HELLFIRE systems are both designed and developed in Orlando, Florida. These weapon systems are manufactured at several Lockheed Martin facilities located in Dallas, Texas; Orlando and Ocala, Florida; Archbald, Pennsylvania; and Troy, Alabama. With over 145,000 missiles produced, JAGM and HELLFIRE remain the preferred choice for critical precision engagement scenarios.
