Embraer is set to participate in the Brazilian Agricultural Aviation Congress, scheduled from August 19 to 21 in Santo Antônio do Leverger (MT), under the theme “A Look to the Future.” The company will showcase the Ipanema 203, the leading cropduster in the Brazilian agricultural aviation sector. With over 20 years of operation powered entirely by ethanol, the Ipanema 203 integrates advanced technology with durability, offering high productivity and precision while ensuring low operational costs.

"The Brazilian Agricultural Aviation Congress, promoted by the National Union of Agricultural Aviation Companies (SINDAG), is a great opportunity for us to promote the news and trends in our sector," says Sany Onofre, Embraer's Agricultural Aviation leader. "Producers are increasingly looking for solutions that bring productivity, lower production costs and ensure operational safety."

Over the past three years, with sales surpassing 180 units, this aircraft has remained a favoured choice among operators. It offers a comprehensive selection of equipment aimed at enhancing productivity and precision, with a strong emphasis on sustainability. The ethanol-powered Ipanema 203 aircraft achieves an efficiency on par with four large ground sprayers operating concurrently, capable of covering over 200 hectares per hour. This ensures a high-quality application without soil compaction or pest transmission through contact, leading to an increased yield of up to 15 additional bags per hectare.

In alignment with its participation in significant agricultural sector events showcasing the Ipanema 203, Embraer has been vigorously advancing operational safety through an extensive program of field initiatives. These initiatives focus on essential topics, including preventive inspections, maintaining a safe environment, and best practices for pilots, mechanics, and operators. Currently, every agricultural pilot training course in Brazil includes a lecture from the Ipanema customer support team, ensuring that a strong safety culture is instilled from the beginning of an agricultural pilot's career.

The ethanol-powered Ipanema 203 represents a significant advancement in the field of agricultural aviation. Its innovative design, commitment to sustainability, and versatility in various farming applications make it a standout choice for those in the agricultural industry. As the world continues to seek greener solutions, the Ipanema 203 serves as a shining example of how technology can harmonise with nature to promote both productivity and environmental responsibility.
