Bombardier's industry flagship business jet, the Global 7500, distinguishes itself as the most acclaimed and record-setting aircraft in its category, firmly establishing its leadership in the ultra-long-range class. This record-breaking jet has completed 135 city-pair missions, underscoring its exceptional performance capabilities.

With over 200 aircraft in operation and exceeding 250,000 flight hours, the established Global 7500 paves the way for the company's Global 8000, which is scheduled to enter service later this year.

Bombardier has proudly announced that its Global 7500 business jet, known for its exceptional performance, has reached a significant milestone by setting 135 speed records, the highest number ever achieved by a single type of business aircraft. Among the notable city-pair speed records are routes such as Tokyo to San Francisco, London to Riyadh, Oakland to Tokyo, Hartford to Dubai, Tokyo to Toronto and Montreal to Paris, among others.

Previous accomplishments of the Global 7500 include setting the record for the longest flight in business aviation, covering 8,225 nautical miles (15,232.7 km) from Sydney to Detroit. Additionally, it achieved the industry's longest non-stop range mission, flying from London City Airport to Los Angeles.

“This is the ultimate recognition, the fastest speed records of all time – and it’s precisely what Bombardier’s discerning customers need: a reliable, fast, efficient business tool that gets them to their destination quickly and efficiently,” said Jean-Christophe Gallagher, Executive Vice President, Aircraft Sales and Bombardier Defence. “Even more impressive is the fact that some of these records have been set with passengers on board in varying conditions and airports. It’s a testament to how well engineered the aircraft is, ensuring customers fully benefit from the aircraft’s outstanding performance attributes for their everyday important missions.”

The Global 7500 aircraft has demonstrated remarkable performance capabilities, achieving numerous speed records since its introduction to the market. With a maximum speed of Mach 0.925 and a baseline range of 7,700 nautical miles (14,260 km), it establishes a new standard in the ultra-long-range category. The aircraft features an innovative Smooth Flĕx Wing, which acts like an in-air shock absorber. This advanced wing is equipped with a sophisticated system of slats and flaps that generate exceptional lift during takeoff and landing, enhancing aerodynamic efficiency and boosting performance. This design not only improves safety and ensures the industry’s smoothest ride but also reduces fuel consumption and emissions. Additionally, it delivers excellent short-field and high-speed performance, making it an ideal choice for our discerning customers.

The Global 7500 aircraft's industry-defining features are set to be elevated with the upcoming launch of the Global 8000 aircraft. As Bombardier's flagship for a new era, it is expected to offer an unparalleled range of 8,000 nautical miles (14,816 km) and achieve a top speed of Mach 0.94, positioning it as the premier all-in-one business aircraft. Additionally, it will maintain a low cabin altitude of less than 2,900 feet while cruising at 41,000 feet.

Bombardier's agile Global 8000 demonstrates remarkable runway performance akin to that of a light jet. Its distinctive design and advanced engineering enable customers to access smaller airports that other aircraft in its class cannot reach.
