LIFT Wins World Luxury Travel Awards

LIFT continues its successful run by securing two more awards in 2024 from the World Luxury Travel Awards. This time, the airline was recognized as the best Domestic Airline in Africa and for having the top Cabin Crew in Southern Africa.
The announcement was made during the weekend at two awards events in Bali and Ireland on 16 and 19 October. The World Luxury Travel Awards recipients are chosen by the public and are given to travel facilities in various categories. The accolades are given at national, regional, continental, and worldwide levels.

Following their success at the prestigious 2024 World Airline Awards in the United Kingdom earlier this year, where LIFT brought home a global award, the airline has now secured another victory. The World Airline Awards, hosted by Skytrax, are known for their independence and impartiality. Notably, LIFT became the youngest airline in Africa to receive such an esteemed accolade.
Meltz adds, “This marks our fourth award this year, rounding up our successful fourth year in the industry. We appreciate the recognition, which acknowledges our obsession around customer service and our commitment to South Africans.”
Established in 2020, the World Luxury Travel Awards provide global recognition for excellence in the travel industry, with over 100,000 international travellers casting their votes annually.
