After last year’s amazing event, Botswana’s Makgadikgadi EPIC Boogie is going to be even bigger and better. With a year after year track record of delivering all the large tailgate aircraft promised, Botswana Defence Force are again committed to this event. World class organising is also confirmed.

Botswana’s Makgadikgadi EPIC Boogie 2019 is an “inclusive” event. Once at the DZ, All your Accommodation, Food, AND 13 Jumps are INCLUDED in the total cost for skydivers and non skydivers alike (just your beer and any extra jumps to pay for!). There are two Transfer options (see below). In addition, Game viewing in Botswana’s coveted Chobe National park, famous for the density of wildlife, is easily accessible either side of the Boogie. The sunsets are to die for as maybe you enjoy a sunset boat cruise on the Chobe river, which boarders Botswana and Namibia. Also possible is a day trip to the stunning Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, (less than an hour’s drive away), the 7th Natural Wonder of the World (at your own expense).

Up to 13 x Jumps (Cost included) Extra jumps $35 USD if possible, priority given to the Boogie package jumps Every effort will be made to jump as last year. There is no rebate for non jumps (due to the fixed costs of the event)
Boogie Accommodation (Cost included) Boogie accommodation is in shared bow tents, with clean, well serviced toilet and shower facilities. Single, non-shared tents are available for an extra $500 USD. Non-skydiving partners sharing a tents with a skydiver also pay just $500 USD.
Food (Cost included) An excellent choice of high quality Buffet service food will be served to skydivers and non-skydiving partners for Breakfast, Lunch and Supper, prepared in an adjacent purpose built kitchen facility
Transport & Transfers Option 1 (Cost included) Leave Kasane Thursday 11th July Afternoon DZ Transfer by road following international flight arrivals Return to Kasane Tuesday 16th July Morning transfer from DZ by road or by C-130 (TBC)
Return road transfer is included. As last year, flying back in the C130 HERC is a possibility but not confirmed. Option 1 is by far the preferred, as in addition to the boogie, you can experience the amazing game viewing in Botswana’s Chobe National park by 4x4 or boat, and the stunning Victrola Falls are a short distance away

Leaves Johannesburg at 9am THURSDAY 11th on fully air conditioned luxury bus. Return trip road transfer is included in the $60 USD cost

Helicopter rides (a Med-Evac helicopter will on the DZ for duration of Boogie), visit off DZ, Flights in the Herc to watch the skydivers exit and view surrounding country (slot dependent) The whole DZ will also have excellent Wi-Fi available.
